in fact the oleo-1.3.1.tar.z at prep.ai.mit.edu compiles fine (gcc
2.3.3, 4.3.3 clibs, 3.0 X libs). the only "problem" i just had was i
needed to edit io-x11.c to swap the black/white defaults (and changed
the default fonts).
