It seems that I have cleared up some of the problems. I got it to boot correctly
and it gave me sporadic trouble with the hosts timing out.

 I had the SCSI board set correctly to my knowledge (irq 5,0ws enable) and it
 would boot without any timeout messages. But I got sporadic "Scsi I/O/ error"
 messages. I could not even fdisk the drive becuase it would not last long
 enough to let me put in the drive psudo parameters.

 I have since given up, and now I am just patiently awating the Always Tech
 scsi driver, and planning to buy a new large HD.
