Since I live here in the 508 area code, I decided to give it a try.
My first reaction on calling was: "he's right, it doesn't work".
Finally, I hit a bunch of carriage returns, got a login, and subscribed
to the bbs.
So, either it takes a while for the BBS software to start running, or
it needs a bunch of carriage returns.
But it does work.
